Smoke Grenade DIY Style
Ingredients: KNO4, Sucrose, Organic Dye, and Baking Soda. KNO4 - Saltpeter Sucrose - Sugar
The best method is a 3:2 ratio of KNO4 to Sucrose. Caramelize the two together on a med-low heat, and then mix in the baking soda and then the dye. I would say 60 grams of KNO4, 40 grams of Sucrose, a teaspoon of baking soda, and then maybe 3 tablespoons of dye. The baking soda slows the burn for more smoke, so be careful with that one. Go ahead and pound a pen about halfway in the mixture once you've put it into a canister, then when it hardens pull the pen, ram some cotton and a fuse in it. Light and enjoy.
WARNING: Do not use a clothing dye, it seems to either burn or somewhat explode. Go for an organic dye at a hobby shop.

Do not, I repeat do not bring these to any field in michigan they will get you banned the fire hazzard is waaaaaay to great just ask Jimbo. We made a few and tested them, they get way too hot and have a tendancy to flame up. I had one that took off like a rocket engine, remember that one Jim?
