Well, I can't afford Combat gloves with Hard Knuckles or Kevlar knuckles yet, so I improvised! Weight lifting gloves, Stride gum cover, Microfiber cloth for comfort and cushion and black electrical tape. I had yet to try it, but I will report back when I do get it used.  Small impact tests confirm some protection capability. |

That it will. Thanks to a college student budget and an aptitude for invention, this is what I came up with to combat the lack of funds.  |

I totally did the same thing, my gloves are also weight lifting gloves haha. It works for me.

I also have metal plates to protect the back of my hands. Sadly, no knuckle protection though.
